Default Auto-infusion

Isn't it annoying to go on an infusion run every time you get a new piece of armor?

Why not streamline the process by adding a mechanic that automatically infuses any armor worn by your character if they have completed the Iron Mines of Moladune mission?

You can complete the mission without getting Infused.
You can get infused in other places (Ring of Fire, Abaddon's Mouth, Mineral Springs).

I agree that it is annoying, but it is part of the lore of the game, and anything related to GAME PLAY should not be automatic. If you want to face Mursaat without dying instatly from Spectral Agony you get infused. This is something that takes a little work.

/unsigned - it isn't THAT hard, and annoying is not a good reason for a change.

No offense but getting infused armor is already very easy to do.

If you're really that pressed for time, let your hero run you to the cut scene in about 4 or 5 mins.

It's not like your infusion would need to be refreshed(which would be a cool feature if infusion had a broader impact on the game imo) or you're getting a new set of armor every 3 days.

nah, just making the game even more easier than it should be. infusion run required=fair and keeps a game mechanic that has existed since the beginning. it hasn't been changed before in the 4 years that people have been playing this game. no need to change it now.

Its not hard to do, and how often do you get new armour anyways?

/unsigned
Anet has things that need doing before this is even considered

However, I do see how one could find this irritating. Its just that the amount of times I get new worth infusing armour is like 2 times a year for the whole account.

It doesn't take long, it's not hard, and people have been fine for almost 5 years now.

I'm pretty sure I've beaten all mursaat related stuff where no one in the party was infused.

Even then an infusion run is incredibly fast and those of us who had to do it 5 times back in the day, we'll never forget it.

It's only annoying when I've forgotten to do it and get blasted by Spectral Agony. OUCH! Getting it done is a piece of cake, can be done in under 10 minutes.

U don't rly need Infusion for 99.9% of the game. Basically- it's like 1-2 vanqs and 2-3 missions And if U feel like U need it badly- it takes 10-20 minutes to get it done.

Vanquish the areas with Mursaat. Complete the missions with Mursaat.

Never go there again.

Problem solved, infusion no longer needed, why would you want to repeat part of Prophecies? Is lowest quality of GW games.

I second this. Getting infused is not hard.

Infused should actually be removed from the game. That would maybe make those weak Mursaat somewhat less sucky.

Better suggestion. I'd sign this.

And while I'm at it, increase Giant Stomp's KD duration to 5 seconds. Now that's a skill you'd have to interrupt.

And another one, remove Monks from PvE. It's so much more fun and challenging without them. Damage really is dangerous if they aren't around.

Honestly, this kind of changes is what would make PvE enjoyable.

Feel the need to re-visit this thread. I actually wish there was some sort of infusion outside of the current places. I could care less to play through prophs on every char (it sucked enough the 1st time), but would like to participate in WiK stuff while infused.

Maybe a WiK infusion run or something or an option in LA keep? As it stands now....one has to sit through multiple, mutiple zones of dialoge and run to and infusion run to complete an infusion run for the WiK stuff. It gets really old after 3-4th char.

Now im not saying make it easier....just less of the jumble that you have to sit through.

There's a thought. Now you mention it, I did do a 4 man mission without monk, though I did put some resto on Xandra and a touch of prot on the MM. And some healing on Mellonni, I think.

You can try it out yourself simply by not bringing monks. Would also increase the amount of partyslots that can do damage.

Let us know how it went.

It should be possible to get a run from LA to Droks, possibly all the way to IMoM.
